Seven informed the ACCC that it was actively considering acquiring further shares in CMH and asked the ACCC to review a proposal for an acquisition of all of the shares in CMH which it does not currently own. Following a public review, on 11 October 2012 the ACCC announced that it would oppose the acquisition.
