We have lawyers in offices in most major metropolitan and country regions. VLA is an independant statutory authority established by legislation called the Legal Aid Act 1978 (Vic) and is funded by Commonwealth and state governments.

We assist socially and economically disadvantaged people to understand and protect their rights. One of the functions of the legal system is to safeguard people's rights.
